Random

Some random things going around here:

1. H-Dub's speech is really improving! He is pointing out shapes everywhere we go, he prefers circles and squares, but also enjoys finding starts and triangles. He has also talked in sentences a bit, told my mother "I don't know" yesterday, said, "You'll do it," to me when he wanted milk. We are so happy and excited.
2. I have still never heard H say the word yes. If a show asks a question he automatically shouts "NO" back.
3. Working makes me have to hurry more. In the last two weeks my mother has noticed a few times that Syd has her shoes on the wrong feet. EVERY.TIME. I am the one who put her shoes on.
4. We went to get everyone's hair cut (except for mine) at Fantastic Sam's Tuesday. I ran in after work, changed into jeans and out of my Uggs because it was so warm. Made sure everyone was dressed, got the fun bag ready because we planned to eat out. Went around town, the haircut place was so busy that we decided to eat first. On my way into Cracker Barrel, My feet feel weird, I look down, I have on TWO DIFFERENT SHOES. Both flats. One open toed and patent and one closed toed leather. So embarrassing. No one mentioned it but I wonder how many people noticed? EMBARRASSING.
5. It is 3:15 on Sunday and all four of us are still in our pajamas.
6. It is going to be a busy week, and I am glad I will be at home. We have both crafts and cooking planned for Valentines Week. Hayden and Syd both have a pizza party to look forward to in their respective classes. MOPS on Friday. Looking forward to all of it!

Last day!

It is my last day of work. I could definitely keeping going and be fine, but I have missed my kids. Have plenty planned for Valentine Week at home. This will all take place after I violently clean and reorganize my house. It has gotten ugly in some parts, I will say that. My desk is a true black hole.

I do plan on subbing some through the rest of this year. Then enjoying much pool time with my babies!

Today

Has been a great day.
1. I got flowers from the principal today because this is my last week and I guess she loves me
2. My co-counselor took my to Queso's for lunch for my farewell luncheon and while I may pop and am perpetually burping silently it was soooo good
3. My kids slept til 7 today, and therefore, so did I :) (and I still got to work on time)
4. It is 63 degrees outside and tomorrow will be 69!
5. Syd and I have a library date after work and I have a list of 15 or more children's books to check out for she and H-Dubya
6. This is my last week of work and I get to look forward to (possibly) 6 months of being home with my babies before I rejoin the working world permanently in the Fall
7. The kiddos and I plan on doing some hot tubbin' before dinner

I miss you, blogging world and friends. Hopefully next year I can handle blogging and working but for now, it is tough.
